About Christina

The search for my true self has taken me on an interesting journey: from investment banker in the financial centres of New York and London to committed energy healer.

Born in the US to German parents, I came to London from New York in the early nineties to pursue a career in finance in the City. I married and quickly gave up my lucrative job to become a stay-at-home mother, thinking that motherhood would fulfill me. Despite “having it all”, I was deeply unhappy and restless. A diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis (inflammatory and painful joint and autoimmune condition) and depression/anxiety followed the birth of my third daughter. A divorce followed a few years later. It took another decade of destructive personal relationships and increasingly poor physical health to finally arrive at a turning point.

Having always been interested in healthy lifestyle choices, I started studying Nutritional Therapy in 2009 at the Centre for Nutrition Education and Life Management (CNELM) and addressed my disease symptoms with different diets over the years, from vegan to Paleo and back. I also completed my NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) Practitioner in 2011. Combining nutrition with psychology/coaching and needing to address my own food obsessions, I completed my Master Practitioner at the National Centre for Eating Disorders (NCFED) in 2012.

At the same time, I discovered energy psychology in the form of emotional freedom technique (EFT) and never looked back. I trained extensively with EFT Masters, Sue Beers and Emma Roberts, at The EFT Centre in North London as well as with EFT Master, Carol Look, in the US. In 2015, I completed the Diploma in Integrated Energy Techniques (IET), which combines EFT with NLP. In addition to my Advanced EFT practitioner qualification, I am also a Master Practitioner of NLP, Hypnosis and TimeLine Therapy.
"Be Yourself, Everyone Else is Already Taken."

My healing journey has been truly transformational and life-changing: I identified my deeply ingrained self-loathing, rigidity/perfectionism and repressed anger, all of which have contributed to my autoimmune condition. I learned to lovingly accept all aspects of myself, layer by layer, the shadow and the light, and thereby reveal my true self. I also discovered that healing is awakening to who we truly are, not just fixing an illness. Through my own experience and my relentless search for solutions and "something more", I knew that I wanted to share my knowledge and help others.

My main therapeutic tool is EFT, but I also draw on a host of NLP, coaching, mindfulness and assertiveness training skills.

A daily meditation practice, self-tapping and recent attunements to Reiki I and II continue to strengthen my connection to Love/Source. As long as we are alive, the process of growth and learning never stops. So, whilst my own process of self-inquiry and self-healing is ongoing, I offer to become your companion and guide on your journey. I hold a safe, non-judgemental and compassionate space for you to explore all aspects of your Self in order for you to become empowered to take personal responsibility for your own path of awakening, healing and growth.

I am trilingual in English, French and German.
